Tushonka
One more truly food symbol of our country. Tushonka is a canned stewed meat – beef or pork which became very popular in Soviet epoch. First this product was created to help people in extreme situations, for instance to help soldiers and travelers – explorers.
Tushonka is stored in small cannes like 300 grams for one tin can and it may be kept at room temperature for 3-6 years (0-20 degrees celcius). And it is always ready. You can always open your Tushonka can and just eat it or warm it up, put on bread or add into soup or pasta.
If you want to add Tushonka in some dishes you should add it at last 5-7 minutes, because it is already a cooked food.
